Dividend Dates
BHP Billiton's dividend declaration dates coincide with the announcements of our interim and full year results. The dividend declaration, ex-dividend, record and payment dates are set out below.
In May 2009 the Company announced that shareholders who wish to change the currency in which they receive dividends must lodge an election to do so. This must be received no later than close of business on the Record Date.

1 BHP Billiton Limited and BHP Billiton Plc shares are listed on the NYSE in the form of American Depositary Receipts (ADRs).
2 BHP Billiton Plc shareholders registered on the South African section of the register will not be able to dematerialise or rematerialise their shareholdings between the dates of 1 and 5 March 2010, both dates inclusive. Transfers between the UK and South African sections of the register will not be permitted between the dates of 26 February and 5 March 2010, both dates inclusive.
